iPhone Cases by MixBin Electronics Are Being Recalled

In July, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that certain models of iPhone cases are being recalled for causing skin irritations and even burns. The cases, produced by MixBin Electronics, contain glitter floating in liquid. They have been found to crack and leak this fluid, which can cause mild to severe chemical burns on the skin. So far there have been 19 reported cases of this occurring in the United States.

Stop Using this Phone Case Immediately and Seek a Refund

If you or someone you know is using one of these cases, remove it immediately, careful not to crack the case or touch any of the liquid inside. These cases were sold on Amazon, Henri Bendel, MixBin, Nordstrom Rack, Tory Burch, and Victoria’s Secret across the United States from Oct. 2015 to June 2017. The CPSC also suggests contacting MixBin for a full refund of the purchase price.
