Raymond Gerard has been an attorney for over thirty years, much of that time being in the Chicago area, and more recently the St. Louis area, where he now lives.
Concentrating in the fields of general business law and commercial real estate, he has represented wholesale distributors, retail businesses, technology companies, banks, private equity investors, commercial and residential real estate developers, shopping centers, general contractors, engineering firms, charitable organizations and other types of clients.
Early Life & Education
Growing up in Buffalo, New York, as the second of four children, Ray comes from a family connected to the legal profession, with both his father and his younger brother being lawyers as well. After attending Canisius College in Buffalo on a full academic scholarship and graduating magna cum laude, Ray received his law degree from Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ray holds licenses to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. An associate member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, St. Louis Chapter, he has, in the past, been a member of The International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate and various other professional organizations.

Family & Personal Life
Married to the girl he met in college that same summer he graduated from law school, he is now the father of two daughters and grandfather of one granddaughter. He lives on several acres in a rural community with plenty of room for his two black Labrador retrievers to run and play or jump in the pond.
