  • Profile

Dan Jones is a native of Villa Grove, Illinois. After earning his B.A. in History from the University of Illinois in 1990, Dan attended the Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993.

Dan knew from an early age that he wanted to go to law school, become an attorney, and help those who need assistance in times of trouble. As someone who has always wanted to help those that have been injured, whether on the job or out in the community, Dan focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury law.

Community Involvement

Dan has lived in east-central Illinois his entire life and has always felt a desire to further the development of his community. He has been a member of the Coles County Salvation Army Advisory Board, the Mattoon Foundation for Academic Excellence Board of Directors, the Coles County Historical Society Board of Directors, and the Injury Board Day of Action. He currently serves as the City Attorney for his hometown of Mattoon, Illinois.

Dan lives in Mattoon. Outside of the office, you can find Dan attending sporting events for his beloved University of Illinois Fighting Illini, attending movies, and reading.
