At The Tapella & Eberspacher Law Firm, we are happy to congratulate Attorney William R. Tapella on his selection to the 2021 edition of Illinois Super Lawyers® for not one but three practice areas in Charleston!
Obtaining a Super Lawyers® listing is a difficult task: In vying for a spot on the list, attorneys are put through the wringer of a rigorous, patented multi-phase review. In addition, only attorneys who have been nominated by a third party — such as a peer, client, or colleague — or identified by the Super Lawyers® Research Team are considered eligible candidates for review. The review itself delves into a dozen different aspects of each candidate’s legal career. For instance, past case results are reviewed, and the position that the attorney holds at their law firm is considered. Super Lawyers® also evaluates a candidate’s scholarly writings and lectures, pro bono services, and community work, bar activity, and more.
After this initial review, the candidates who have obtained the highest Super Lawyers® scores thus far serve on a Blue Ribbon Panel to reevaluate all candidates in their respective practice areas. Then, the final selection is determined, with no more than 5% of United States attorneys appearing on the register. Super Lawyers® does aim to curate a vetted directory accurately representative of small, medium, and large law firms, so individuals can find a premier attorney who will fit their legal needs.
2021 Super Lawyers® recognized Attorney Tapella with listings in the following practice areas in Charleston, Illinois:
